Is there a minimum number of days that my child has to attend each week?

Your child has to be booked for a minimum of two half sessions or one full session. It is highly recommended that your child attends a full day in order to benefit from the group lessons that are held in the afternoons. These group lessons include reading and writing skills, numeracy, Chinese language as well as music and movement.

Can my child use your kindy as opposed to a DECS kindy before they go to school?

Yes, your child is able to go straight to school after graduating from our Preschool/Kindy class. We are confident that our kindy program will adequately prepare your cihld for school in all areas, including academic and social skills.

Do you provide meals to my child?

No, we do not provide meals. For half day sessions, please pack healthy morning snacks for your child. For full day sessions, please also include a packed lunch and afternoon snacks.

How do I prepare my child for the separation?

It is our desire to make the transition as stress free as possible for both the child and the family. Transition visits are available to familiarise your child with the environment.

Am I eligible for child care subsidy?

As Faith Montessori is a registered Long Day Care Centre, you may be eligible for the Government's Child Care Subsidy. Please refer to www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/child-care-subsidy or contact the Family Assistance Office on 13 61 50 for further information.
