A bit about us...
Our two directors/owners, Joyce and Lai, are highly motivated and dedicated early childhood professionals. They are very passionate about helping to make a difference to every child’s developmental learning experience.
Joyce holds a Diploma in Montessori Education from Associate Montessori Internationale (AMI), USA. She also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronics) from the National University of Singapore as well as a Bachelor of Arts (Children and Family Services) from Edith Cowan University, WA. Joyce has run three successful Faith Montessori Centre preschools in Singapore from 1997 to 2011.
Lai obtained her registered nursing and midwifery qualifications in the United Kingdom and has worked for several years at Flinders Medical Centre. She is an accredited Life Coach and also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology and Economics) from Flinders University as well as a Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
About FMC
Faith Montessori is a licensed, privately owned and managed Early Learning Centre. It is also registered as a Long Day Care. Faith Montessori provides a special program for very young children (two and three years old) as well as a kindy program for children (four and five years old) to prepare them for school.
Our vision is to encourage your child to experience and discover the joy of learning. Our philosophy is underpinned by the philosophy of Dr Maria Montessori. We believe that every child is a unique individual. We are committed to providing a loving and caring environment for the children, one in which they can explore, discover and learn. Our environment and curriculum aim to meet your child’s physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs.
Our teachers are trained to guide the children to provide the best learning experience to fit their specific need and pace. All our lead teachers are highly skilled and hold qualifications in Early Childhood Education as well as Montessori Education.
